Product:
This is a radiation detection device to be used by the Emergency Services.

Client Brief:
Samples were required for promotional work and for evaluation prior to commencement of production tooling.

Action:
The product consists of a docking station and detection unit, which incorporates an overmoulded shroud in two colour variations. Vacuum castings of the plastic enclosures were supplied from SL master models and silicone tools.

Result:
More detailed and accurate tests were possible due to the high quality prototypes that were produced. Subsequently the design was developed further prior to production, resulting in a more ergonomic, higher quality product.
